I am an ethnic Sherpa from the village of Jiri, southwest of the Khumbu (Mt. Everest) region of the Himalayas.

I have been working as a trekking guide since 1990 and have experience trekking in many regions across Nepal. 

I am also professionally trained in mountaineering and have climbed many Himalayan peaks, including a summit of Mt. Everest. 

I am now a member of the Nepal Mountaineering Instructors Association and teach mountaineering skills to others.
